Developing the institutional performance of a government sector after achieving job satisfaction

​The most important factors that satisfy all employees are motivated, wages, benefits, and achievement, and the most important example of motivation is to provide other factors that contribute to self-development such as improving working conditions and changing company policies so that the employee is more flexible at work, and to increase interaction between the employee and management to create a better environment for employees.

 

The importance of job satisfaction has been reflected in one of the most important institutions in the United Arab Emirates that work in the service of the community and residents in Dubai and provides all services and facilities with the highest quality standards such as parks and public facilities that Dubai residents can go to and enjoy. Knowing the aspirations of the youth working in the organization, where there was a need to focus on raising awareness regarding safety standards and providing a safe environment for work, as a set of activities was proposed to enable employees to maintain their physical and mental fitness, in addition to working on improving the organization’s facilities in terms of flow Air and lighting facilities.​

 

Some of the effects of achieving job satisfaction for employees in the organization were to raise morale and build good communication from managers to employees so that employees provide supervisors with actionable suggestions about what can be done for improvement and when they have questions or concerns, superiors address them. Providing them with the tools and resources they need to perform their work and the training necessary to do the work to the fullest, and all of these things have led to the strengthening of teamwork.​

 

After organizing and analyzing all the inputs it appeared that most of the employees are looking for motivation to increase their satisfaction with the job, so the focus was placed on psychological things rather than tangible things as employees became more willing to work with flexible timing management. They liked to be appreciated by their line managers who Gave more value to their work and where more tasks and rotations were given, which made their jobs useful to increase their performance, in addition to the fact that senior management granted some powers to employees, which constituted a great incentive by making them part of the decision-making process.
